Dear Friends and Servants of the Oregon Synod,
We gathered at 10 AM yesterday in a nearby park. We heard stories of ICE detainees at Sheridan Federal Prison and talked about why we were here. We prayed. Liaisons who would speak to the press were identified so we could refer reporters to them. Volunteers trained to direct and police us were thanked.
